The individual books themselves have cliffhangers since the story spans 5 books. Each book starts right where the previous one left off. The first 5 books may be read together as a COMPLETED series and should be read in order. If you find it slow, don’t worry and don’t stop!!! It’s worth it to keep going 😀 The first book is a little slower though because this is really a story that BUILDS.
